Sports Medicine Emergency Management (SMEM)
Sports Medicine Emergency Management will design and deliver a unique custom program built specifically to your needs and program goals. SMEM is approved by the Board of Certification, Inc. (BOC) to offer Category-A continuing education for Certified Athletic Trainers (BOC AP#: P10229) and by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties (ABPTS) Sports Physical Therapy Council to satisfy the Acute Management of Injury and Illness (AMII) requirement for the Sports Certified Specialist (SCS) credential.

The mission of Sports Medicine Emergency Management (SMEM) is to elevate the standard of emergency care training and rehearsal within the sports medicine community and empower interdisciplinary teams to respond efficiently and effectively to emergencies.
Sports Medicine Emergency Management aims to be the go-to resource for sports medicine emergency preparation and training, transforming emergency responses through interdisciplinary collaboration, competency-based skills training, and practical scenario-based rehearsals. We strive for a future where sports medicine professionals feel fully prepared and are unwavering in the face of adversity, equipped with skills that prioritize outcomes and save lives.
